MEAN GP EARNINGS (see latest news)
"All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working at Aintree Park Group Practice in the last financial year, 2015/16 was £ 47,019 before tax and National Insurance.
This is for 3 full time GPs, 8 part time GPs and 2 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.”
By 31 March 2016 all patients must have an accountable GP. You will be advised of this directly when you visit the Practice but you can contact us for notification of your GP

NATIONAL PATIENT SURVEY
The results of this are now published. See the link below to find how we faired. Many thanks to those of you who were selected to participate
You may be aware all practices are now required to provide all their patients with a named GP.
We, like many practices, have always favoured an ‘open’ list system whereby patients choose who they want to see and there are no restrictions on who they are able to see.
In reality, most patients choose their ‘favoured GP’ for certain problems and are happy to see anyone where an on-going follow up is not as important.
With good up to date notes, catching up with what’s been going on is fairly straight forward.
In our practice, we all have different personalities which will suit different patients.
We would want patient’s choice to carry on, so really nothing has changed.
This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do.
You do not need to take any further action, but if you have any questions, or wish to discuss this further with us, please contact us on 0151 295 8350 or email email@example.com
Partnership and GP changes
We are delighted to have Dr Jane Roberts join the practice as our new partner. Jane has a wealth of experience and is also acts as Clinical Lead for Children & Young People's Mental Health & Emotional Well-being for Liverpool CCG
Jane will replace Dr Cathy Hubbert who will cease as a partner at the practice from 31st May. However we are delighted that Cathy will remain with us as a GP. Cathy is one of the founding members of Aintree Park and has seen the practice develop over the last 30 years. What the Practice is today is in no small part down to Cathy's vision, drive and determination.
We have also been joined by Dr Joanne Reeve who is an associate professor at Warwick University.
Dr Helen Spencer, who was previously our registrar, joined us in August
The Care Quality commission regulates all GP practices. We will shortly have an inspection from them and we will publicise the result. In the meantime the link below will take you to more information about CQC
Friends and family test now available see link on right
This is now a requirement of all GP practices. it is an opportunity for patients to feedback in relation to how they feel they are treated at the Practice. If we have your mobile number we will text you after each appointment for feedback. Forms are available at both surgeries and you can use this website to record feedback.
